Establishment and development of Elektro Karban

Company history

Jaroslav Karban - ELEKTRO was founded on 19 July, 1993 by Mr. Jaroslav Karban based in Hrušovany u Brna. The main activity of the company was implementing the electro-assembly works, installing, repairs and inspections of electrical equipment up to 1000V and substations up to 35kV. The company's objective, however, was to focus on the production of toroidal transformers, auto-transformers and chokes.

In 1998 Mr. Karban together with his four colleagues began the manufacture of transformers and layered insulating materials at Komenského 38 in Židlochovice. In November 2004, the company purchased a warehouse at Nádražní street in Židlochovice and in 2007 the manufacturing plant started the operation here.

On 4 May 2007 the new trading company named ELEKTRO-KARBAN s.r.o. was established having fourteen employees and the registered office at the new address Nádražní 790, Židlochovice.

At present, our company supplies toroidal transformers and electrical insulating materials both to the Czech market and abroad, namely to Germany, Austria, Poland, Egypt and the Netherlands.

The major task of Elektro-Karban is to adapt easily, quickly and efficiently to the customer requirements thus meeting his needs.
